Anybody seen Hughes in St Stephens ?
Just been in and didn't see him but then again I have no idea what he looks like

Best of luck with that, sounds good. Having skills which don't expire is a real advantage in life, something I don't have, the skills that is, not life...The last 7 years have been in Vietnam and love it. However, just got a job offer for 3 years to go to NZ, which I think I am going to take, so the likelihood is I will never return permanently to UK.

According to Fabrizio Romano. Norwich have had a £7M bid accepted for Hughes... I'm going to take it with a pinch of salt until he's a Norwich player or his medical there is confirmed.
He's not posted anything like that, it was a Norwich WUM.
Yes we all have skills but in many cases keeping them up to date and marketable gets harder as you get older. In your case I'd guess maintaining engineering skills is harder than it would be for journalism, no? For me I had IT skills which are out of date now and it's really hard to keep up once you're retired and out of the workplace. We all have skills mate just need to be tapped into.
Sadly the educational system in the UK doesn’t pull it out of the students.
My dad was an engineer so I became one too.
It’s given me a lot but don’t particularly enjoy it.
Would have much preferred to have studied journalism.

Brilliant decision..... better chance of getting a good signal in NZ probably...The last 7 years have been in Vietnam and love it. However, just got a job offer for 3 years to go to NZ, which I think I am going to take, so the likelihood is I will never return permanently to UK.

Oz/NZ? FFS start your own Thomas Cooke thread!
Not a lot to discuss about anything else not is if we have much transfer news is it.
Those were the daysWas quite a coup at the time (Hull City signing Huddz ... and Livermore)!
What a pleasure it was watching him.
And I'd forgotten how good a goal this actually was when you see the full passage of play like this clip, rather than 'just' the finish.

I expect Thursday/Friday for signings as Tim had previously said nothing before tonight’s game.
