Tan said in todays interview that things are moving now, a couple surprises for the fans in the next couple of days maybe tomorrow.
Hughes is looking like it'll happen according to Tan. Wouldnt comment if we've agreed a fee, but said there's discussions between the club and Hughes that will end up positive for us, a sensitive situation whatever that means..
Conway is leaning more towards Boro after having positive talks with Carrick. We were late to join the race so others are further ahead. Didnt sound too positive on that one. Tan said if the player decides not to join us, we'll find better... similar to what Acun said at the Q&A. I think its easier said than done.
Zambrano was at the game today, Tan says we've taken a risk to sign him as bigger clubs were after him but the doping issue has enabled us to take a risk and get him. Will be announced in the next couple of days.
Talking about Giles... Tan says that he should to be respectful of what we're doing, that we invested a lot of money in him and he should be contributing to our club. When Mike White says "your saying he should be, does that mean he'd like to go?" Tan says he didnt say anything like that and doesnt know if Boro are interested... still a strange way of talking about a player if there's no offer for him and if he hasnt asked to go... then why say he needs to be respectful to us? Strange one..
He didnt want to comment on outgoings like Seri as its match day, but everything will be considered. If a player doesnt want to stay, everyone has a value but we wont be walked over.

I did get the feeling that Giles is head is in Boro from how Tan answered, and from what I saw today on the pitch nothing has changed my mind.
