Proof will be in the pudding but I really like the coach, seems like an intelligent man and has very specific ideas about how we should play, especially off the ball.

I think we're going to have a good season, not sure if we make the top-6 but I think it will go to the wire.

 

At the very least we'll be an exciting watch

 

Come on Sunderland, give the man a striker to work with!

 

Interesting that he talked about the Sunderland way of playing and he was just implementing that style.

 

That’s it. Someone competent to lead the line is a must. Felt for Mowbray after last summer.

 

In fairness I think RLB knows that the club are genuinely trying to get an experienced striker in.

There are loads of coaches in the academy tho right? earlier in the video there were quite a few young players I didnt recognise (including an asian looking lad) training / warming up with the first team. could have been that they joined in for a bit and their academy coach had a chat with RLB

 

One for the conspiratory enthusiasts - its Speakman and he's had WB marked up to throw people off the scent!
