ha pretty much the point I was making in the post above (that we posted at pretty much the same time)

 

I think he's here to be a genuine number 3, I suspect they're working hard to find a loan for Richardson and then you'll have Cameron and Chibueze in the u21s. I doubt we'll see him play this season, maybe 1 or 2 outings in the u21s but I'd even doubt that, he might even be sent out of loan.

 

Who

 

we are minus Simms, Stewart, Amad from last season the worry is will Clarke and Pattison might be added we need a 20-30 goal striker no matter who we sell.

 

What

 

His heat map seems to show that he likes to drift wide and link up with the wingers and 8’s etc from time to time.

 

he doesn’t press at all though, and his hold up play is pretty poor.

I know everyone is desperate for a striker, I just don’t think this is the one we need for the way we play.

 

he was talking about the new Sunderland keeper. Signed as a number three

Madness

The thing is, all transfers could be linked in some way. For example - we’re linked with a young Palace winger on loan. Palace sign a new winger so it’s posted on here. It could be relevant in our chase to sign him…

 

Maybe both would be a decent solution.

 

Never understood the obsession with us having a striker who presses, we didn’t even play a high press. Haaland was the PL top scorer last 2 seasons and had barely any touches most games, runs the least, doesn’t press..
