You keep saying this stupid stuff.

You said LR didn't have pulling power pre January, then we signed Carvalho, Zaroury and Giles. Fair they didn't all work but he clearly had pulling power.

Now there's 9 days to go, we've signed 1, and we've not been able to get players through the door.

BTA has decided he'd rather be 3rd choice at Cov than our main striker. That alarming.

Almost every player that signs talks about the owner rather than the manager, if anything it points to Acun doing less now that he's in at Fenerbahce, rather than it having anything to do with LR.

"BTA has decided he'd rather be 3rd choice at Cov than our main striker" - or he doesn't want to move house and uproot his life...

Personally, I’m not arsed about missing out on Assante at all. Consensus it difficult to say, but most WBA fans I read said he was ‘limited’. Damning,

I obviously get the wider concerns. The planning seems to have been very poor to say the least and PR wise – it has been a disaster.

But some of the drama and tears on (mainly Twitter) – have some self-respect if nothing else.

Linking to other issues, such as the aftermath to the terrible stuff in the north west, is that people just seem to need to tweet/post absolute ****e 24/7 with no awareness of how this represents them (or their internet identity) or even their club.

Yes, I am aware of the irony of me posting this on an internet forum but if the club is a bit of a bin fire at the minute with planning, heaping more flammable hysteria onto it won’t help. Be constructive if anything.

No I said the reason that those players came wasn't all down to LR but the fact we were willing to pay very decent fees for them and a high % of their wages.....

BTA has decided to stay in his local region, not move his family and earn slightly more money then he would with us..... Why wouldn't he choose them over us in that situation?

Woah… perspective.

one of the 6 targets we knew about has chosen elsewhere. I personally had never heard of him and it’s not like his stats show him as prolific

Respectfully how can you spin this as if there’s a benefit. Theres 9 days left and we’ve got 1 striker who’s best season is 2 more goals than the bloke that’s just left us hanging out for dry.

if you’re on acun’s payroll just admit it at this stage

Because none of them had anything to do with us paying mega bucks for the privilege. That's exactly why we're tightening the purse strings this window.
