The stabbings in Southport were unutterably sickening, but there seems to be some dangerous stuff being put out about the piece of dirt that carried them out. I've been forwarded a WhatsApp naming him as Ali-Al-Shakati and stating that he was an asylum seeker who had arrived on a boat last year. This seems to have been based on a report on a website called Channel3Now. 17-year-old Ali Al-Shakati arrested in connection with the stabbings in Southport, England (channel3now.com) On the BBC news just now they said that the killer was born in Cardiff.

Well, you're the expert on Twitter headbangers. The 'information' that I was presented with was via a forwarded WhatsApp, which suggested that the police were more interested in arresting Tommy Robinson than murderous illegal immigrants. When I tried to find out more about the murderer, my search led me to the Channel 3 News Now site, which did indeed state that the scumbag had arrived on a boat last year. Falsely, it turns out. Once the dust has settled on this tragedy and the murderer is safely locked away, whoever is responsible for this ****-stirring should also be brought to book.
