Getting sick of ex and current heads of the armed forces - latest General Sir ‘Roly’ Walker, new head of the army, demanding more cash and people for the armed forces. ‘Roly’ tells us there could be a war within three years (but it’s not inevitable) and thankfully if we give him an everything he asks for we will be able to defend ourselves. These warmongers are the same people who have trained our current armed forces to such a fine degree of war readiness that a battalion of paratroopers couldn’t be deployed to Kosovo 18 months ago because they were too busy abusing women in their barracks and lacked the discipline to be trusted with loaded weapons. And commissioned some of the most expensive ships ever built and now can’t get them to work. If only they had the iron discipline of Starmer’s Labour - any sign of rebellion and you’re out. Labour no longer a broad church it seems.
