FFP is a major problem. I reckon if the owner doesn't get a sniff by the end of next season he'll be gone. I bet Fernerbahce are having the same problems right now - what was that?

Saw that Verbruggen was out. Would hope that doesn’t hamper his chances of going out long term though. He looked really good for Swansea last year and they played out from the back

If we are willing to spend £5m to replace Greaves I’d disagree

Seems to be a trope that's been repeated in some circles from the start and doesn't want to go away. No matter what the evidence is to suggest that's not happening any time soon

And in any case, is he really the be all and end all? I find it a little bit small time how obsessed we are with this one keeper we had on loan briefly. He was great for us, at that time, in a defensive side. Rosenior commented on him learning to play out and never having done it before. Based on that, I'm not sure he'd ever have been right for us long-term and I doubt he fits the bill for Walter.

Y’know what’s funny if we have pushed the boat just that little bit further at the start of the window last year and got Darlow in there’s a fair chance we’d be preparing for a season in the premier league right now, fairly certain we’d have at least landed firmly inside the top 6.

First and foremost he was a fantastic keeper and made a number of big saves. He was good enough with his feet too, but we've got no chance of getting him now so I agree it's a mute point.

I still think the keeper coming in will be Heuer Fernandes

Yep, the managers decision to keep him in cost us a fair few points.

FFP is a major problem across most of the top 2 divisions. It will suppress the market across the board, meaning we're no more or less competitive than before.

What happened to the process of we'll sell you when we have a replacement sorted? Ingram goes and we appear to have not had a replacement 'in the building'. Naïve at best.

You missed the thing about the probationary licence and ffp limit did you?

We've clearly had to sell before we can buy otherwise the EFL wouldn't sign it off.
