Seems to have gone quiet on the coaches/assistant recruitment. Has anyone heard time frames/any names in the frame?

Saw one guy linked a week or so ago, but radio silence since then (I've not been online much though).

Think RLB mentioned this week or next. Sounds like just an assistant like but who knows

RLB PLAN FOR JOBE

Regis Le Bris says that Jobe Bellingham is expected to start the season as a midfielder and believes his best position is as a left-sided central midfielder, the most advanced in a midfield three.

PHYSICALITY A BIG BONUS
“I think it's a good idea to start, and then we'll see. He has the great potential to press because he is physical and strong and energetic. That part of the game he can be very strong."

BUILD RELATIONSHIPS ON THE LEFT
"Then from this position as a number eight on the left he can create a relationship with Jack, for example, or Dennis. Of course they need experience together to improve that triangle but I think that it could be a good position for him.”

Just went into the Regis le Bris thread on RTG for a second and never left it so quick
There’s a rabble that stomp on the slightest bit of positivity over there, the irony is they gaslight into thinking it’s the “happy clappers” that are the ones who stomp on the “realists” with their valid concerns.

Their valid concerns though are just repetitive jibes and snipes.

There was enormous future criticism on the lines of 'They'll delay announcing a manager then say Dodds was the best choice'.

When that failed they've switched to 'RLB hasn't been allowed to bring an assistant in'.

If he does bring someone in they'll switch back to KLD is penny pinching'.

It's so easy to criticise in advance then go quiet when proved wrong ...

... or use the good old,
'No one's more pleased than me to be proved wrong, we're all Sunderland supporters so let's not argue' <laugh>

If he wants his own backroom staff let him have them.
If he is being blocked, we should know about it.
If what I was told is correct, he only wanted 1 coach, and he has stayed in France.
Let's all just back the club and see how it goes.

Bit quiet on the interviews for new coaches it seems. I would like another 1st team coach in. Another new voice will be beneficial.

There's no chance anything will be said until an announcement imo.

Anyone being interviewed may be having several with different clubs ...

... some may even be currently employed elsewhere.

I thought the club said they were expecting to share an update. Either way, it would be of benefit to our chances to get another top level coach. Hopefully Southgate <laugh>
