I'm really looking forward to my medical to go to England with my wife and children and to discover this stadium, these fans and this magnificent atmosphere ,"

We actually paid 2m for him aswell. Carsten Freedgaad was 3.5m, Mavrias was about 2m..
Etc etc.

Its scarey to think how much money weve thrown away over the years. That kind of money would be decent now, nevermind then

He was the youngest ever player to feature in the Champions league when we signed him. He left being the worst Greek player England has ever seen.

He turned into Stavros Flatley the moment he put a Sunderland shirt on
