Seems like Villa are up to some funny business with this Philogene stuff.

But I don't think it's clear what the motive is or who benefits. As AlRawdah mentioned a few pages back, Tan has hinted about us having a relationship with Villa and possibly tapping into that to our own benefit. It could well be that this is about driving up the fee that Ipswich or others have to pay.

How can we have a sell on clause with a club we didn't sell the player to? Any contract would be between Villa and Ipswich we wouldn't be involved. They'd have to match the fee.

I won't come back but that's my thoughts on a hypothetical situation.

If we were offered say 18m plus 15% of any future sale, or an extra 2m after 15 PL appearances for arguments sake then that adds to the value of the deal. Surely villa should have to match those terms also?

Same as a cash only offer.

Willock officially confirmed as released by QPR now so he must have rejected their final contract offer. You would presume he has offers lined up so wonder where he's off too.

.... and is Turkish (and English).
Doubt very much that is a coincidence!
I've never seen that guy Erbil Bozkurt in Turkish league to be honest, but his agents are Turkey based though. Basically ME10 agency belongs to Murat Erdogan, a former London-born Turkish football player spent entire career in Turkey, who had his peak with half season at Galatasaray, but usually a regular in mid-level player for Turkish league teams.

He was born and raised in England but had Turkish parents.

But a bit suprised with Yokuslu, because he is also linked with Trabzon and Besiktas as a rotation player, could even be first 11, and even Galatasaray interested in as a backup.

I’ve never heard of one. Would be totally rubbish for the buying club so I can’t really believe they are on the selling fee. Imagine the player flops and you sell at a loss, then you have to pay even more to the original club? Sounds ridiculous
I’ve never heard of a percentage of the fee being anything other than profit. I can’t imagine even the dimmest person to agree to that!

I was thinking that last night. However, bad it is its not 90s bad, with winding-up orders a regular occurrence and whole sides made up of free transfers.

Indeed, but hat doesn't even touch the sides of what happened.

When the ball winners in midfield were the likes of Chris Lee and our chairman openly aspired to be a Leeds feeder.
