I really think Ba will kick on under le bris, I really feel some of the grief he gets is very harsh, if he gets a good run and trust I think he will flourish, just needs to calm down in front of goal

People on here know my opinion on Ba so won’t waffle on, I’m his biggest advocate honestly think the boy could be so so good but he needs to cut out the petulance of his game. Silly bookings and fouls when they aren’t necessary. We’re a better team with him in it though, his defensive work goes unnoticed a lot of the time and I actually thought it was a bit **** of Dodds to play Rigg on the right over Ba toward the end of the season. I get it’s a bit of virtue signalling and we wanted him to sign a contract but he looked like a fish out of water on that side of the pitch most of the time.

I think so too mate, he has so much potential in my opinon. Needs to improve his decision making (but what young player doesn't?). Be good to see him getting lots of opportunities for game time.
Do you think he is best out on the RW? After being moved about all over I think that is where he has looked best.

Hope so mate, I really like Ba, think he's had raw deal from the coaches and supporters to be honest.

Some of it is also down to him to learn to avoid stupid yellow cards as well mind, hopefully that will be cut out moving forward.

What Roberts needs is a full back who overlaps him. Its why he dovetailed with Amad well, as between them they shared that space and so couldn't be doubled up on.

Have an overlapping full back and it allows Roberts to cut inside.

Hume isn't the guy for that. But if we moved to a wing back system with Pembele there I think Roberts would do well.

Not saying thats what I want to happen btw. Just what I think it would take for Roberts to regain form.

I'd live a couple of our young lads, Pembele, Hemir, Mundle etc to step up and show themselves to be championship ready under Regis.

Think that would be nore exciting to me than new signings.
I have a feeling mundle will show his class this season, the lad was unreal at u21 level and looked the type that could step up to senior football

He looked abit all over the shop last season, but I really think a lot of that is down to what was going on at the club.
Think we will see better performances from a lot of our young talent with the new manager and improved atmosphere etc.

Although the quality drops off, we have loads of players that can play left. Like others have said, the right needs to be just as strong. Rak-Sakyi on loan would be perfect imo.

Avoid passing, crossing or shooting to look threatening.
Cut inside after a few shimmies and gift the opposition a counter (repeat)
Talented, skilful but toothless and a liability in so many ways. Sell
A lot of Roberts’ issues last season were down to Mowbray’s faddy use of an inverted right back. Having Hume unable to overlap really hindered PRs ability to bring some unpredictability. The opposition knew what was happening because there was no alternative. According to reports, RLB keeps his fullbacks wide. That will help. Defo need more from PR too, though.

This stat is class, scored 11 at Colchester in League one and then moved to Lincoln in the jan and scored 10. Top goalscorer at both clubs.

21 goals altogether in league one last season.

I wonder if we are in for him?

Yep all the january signings came into a very difficult situation. Some will write them off already but they need time to settle and most importantly they need a manager who can develop them
