I'd agreeEven if it is an obligation
Doesnt it show **** recruitment for the fact the deal existed in the first place

How can you say that... we didnt sign him with the intention he wouldn't work, we signed him on what he had shown for Middlesbrough previously. The fact we didnt see the best of him might not lay with recruitment but team management.Even if it is an obligation

Well, he’s our player, he should be at pre-season, same as Philo and Greaves or anyone else we might lose. Where else would they be?If that was the case why has he even turned up for preseason? It's all just a bit strange to me.
I'd agree
If Giles goes, surely the composition of members in the 'brain team' needs addressing.
It's embarrassing, and makes us look like complete amateurs. Unless the idea is to blame Darnborough and that's why he's gone
Giles looked to be a good signing for us in January when he signed on loan, I didn't hear any dissenters regarding his signing.
He obviously wasn't a Liam signing, as he preferred to play the inexperienced Matty Jacob even when Giles was fully fit. Was it a 'Brain Team' signing or was it a Darnborough signing? Whatever was, it has been an expensive mistake.
I am looking forward to the plane taking off for Turkiye on Wednesday, it is probably going to be a raw, lightweight and inexperienced squad. I don't expect Longman, Giles, Philogene and Jacobs to be on the bus to the airport.
I wouldn't want a player who wanted to be somewhere else in the squad if you could get the money back and maybe make a minor profit..I always felt Lee Darnborough did a decent job in difficult circumstances. So far, nothing that has happened since he left has made me feel differently. But then to be fair nothing has happened since he left, other than we signed an attacking full back who would seem ideal for Walterball, and are now apparently selling him straight on to rivals.
I agree with you. Just seems odd that a player who seemed at least on the surface to be very positive about being here in January now seems less interested, if that's true as some are saying.I wouldn't want a player who wanted to be somewhere else in the squad if you could get the money back and maybe make a minor profit..
100% team management, think we all know with what we’ve heard from Walterball it seemed smart exciting business. Strengthening direct rivals is a complete **** show and if we make no profit then Jesus what an embarrassment.
baz as been saying for weeks it's been a obligation to buy giles us and Luton put out it was a option to buy gilesalso to add to this I don’t give a monkeys if he wants to go to Teeside he’s just signed a 4 year deal ffs pay up or he goes nowhere

Why don't you expect Jacobs to be on the plane?
be taking part in the training sessions lolThere'll be more fans going to Turkey than players. 25 is it?
