Nigel Farage really looks after the British interests, he really cares about us... So much so, that he spent 3 years on the EU Fisheries Committee and only bothered turning up once.

Fisheries.

Looks like he's haddock quite a few on here.

I hate the guy… but when elected to the EU parliament - he said I’m not attending.

There are many sticks to beat the **** with, this is not one of them…..

The idea that is no money for public services is a lie.

The Attlee government rebuild a country aftwr WW2 which included nationalising 20% of the economy, building council houses and the setting up the NHS.

All this was done with 230% debt to GDP. We currently have 101%.

We were the largest beneficiary of the Marshall Plan after the war and still had colonial possessions to draw resources from. Attlee oversaw the beginning of the brutal campaign to subjugate Malaya’s attempt to seek independence after WWII so that the Empire could retain access to tin and rubber production there.

The Attlee government didn’t wave a magic wand and created the NHS from fairy dust. It was paid for with American money and the blood of colonial subjects. This is what I mean when I talk about the weird, almost-sacred position the NHS has in the eyes of many. It’s pathetic.

Id vote for you

A lot of the old MP's have stood down so there will be a massive influx of first time MP's into all parties, new blood is good, cleansing, hope the calibre is high and they follow the code of conduct better than some of the old rabble, new ideas and innovasions please.

On the other hand, some of the 2019 intake are horrendous grifters.

The NHS took several decades to build up, lefties would have you believe it was only created by Labour and staffed by immigrants, do you know who, as health secretary, laid the foundation stone for Hull Royal Infirmary in 1963?
