I think there's going to be a relatively low turnout up here.Gale force winds, lashing rain and extremely cold...Hopefully the dole scrounging, work shirking layabouts who vote SNP have decided to spend the full day in bed instead of 3/4's of it...

My surreal memory of the 1997 Election was waking up to the sound of loud sustained cheering...

Had I really been that good in bed the night before?

Had my fanclub finally formed on mass to celebrate my existence?

No I'd accidentally put my 'radio / clock - alarm' on radio instead of the buzzer, and it was the sound of the crowds cheering in that London, outside Downing Street for the last landslide Labour victory...

'Today is the best Conservative budget since 1986'.

Said by Nigel Farage after the Liz Truss mini budget.

The idea that is no money for public services is a lie.

The Attlee government rebuild a country aftwr WW2 which included nationalising 20% of the economy, building council houses and the setting up the NHS.

All this was done with 230% debt to GDP. We currently have 101%.

Nigel Farage really looks after the British interests, he really cares about us... So much so, that he spent 3 years on the EU Fisheries Committee and only bothered turning up once.

    Fisheries.

Looks like he's haddock quite a few on here.

Yet Labour 'ran out of money' with 40% GDP. Thank goodness for austerity.

The Tories convinced people that the economy is like household budget. They explained that when a household is in debt it cuts spending. They miss out the the part households can't use QE and sell government bonds at very low interest rates.
