Getting rid of the root of the problem is an actual real course of action. Remember, it was alright 15 years ago. We aren't living in a totally different world to then. But we do have a much more cruel government who prioritises syphoning off money to their mates whilst telling everyone there is none for things like healthcare.
It really wasn't "alright 15 years ago"!!
It was inefficient, poorly run, dysfunctional, **** systems, etc etc.
Issues during the last 15 years have simply exacerbated the problems (issues including population explosion (and that's not hyper-bole), aging population, continuing decline in healthy life styles for too many, covid, etc etc.)

I tell you what Labour should do, end the scam of directors taking out unlimited amounts of money from companies and only paying 20% tax, how the **** is that fair?

For all the media coverage, the Country doesn't exactly feel like it's gripped with election fever does it?

That apathy sits with politicians, the media and the civil service. I'm sure there are others that can be added to that list.
Personally I can’t wait to see the back of the present government, the sleaze, corruption, lying and dishonesty they’ve displayed over the years must surely have killed off many people’s enthusiasm for politics. I hope the next lot can restore just a little faith…

I was surprised when I went to vote. Couldn’t get on car park and people queueing. More than I have seen before. Maybe in Hull apathy is a way of life. In the last election Karl Turner’s constituency was the only one with a less than 50% turnout,

It’s the Tory’s denial to the death which amuses me. Liz Truss has no remorse at all but that’s not a surprise. During the election between her and Sunak, while the country needed an announcement re the energy bill support, she held a Mayfair “ fizz with Liz gig. Talk about not been in touch.

Chazz won’t be voting, it’s Pilates night in the upstairs room in The Duke tonight so we all know what that means.

Pesting comes before voting, he’ll be in there already.

Jostling for pole position, pun intended.
