I can still walk far enough not to need to use the disabled bays, at least for now.
My brother has one though, his FSHD is worse than mine, even though I was diagnosed first.

Think they were also talking about letting Brits who live overseas vote. That would even things up as they will all vote Conservative. Presumably that idea will ll be dropped when Labour get in.Even if they changed the age for voting to 16, some 16 year olds will have to wait until they are 20/21 before they can vote in a GE. So if they are 15 now and 16 on Monday (8th) they will have to wait 4-5 years until the next GE...the only difference would be they can vote in local elections.
In regards to my own personal view, I see changing the voting age to 16, much like I see trying to change the way we vote (PR) it suits one party (Labour), so as always there is an agenda behind it.

So you’re a Tory, JackieThink they were also talking about letting Brits who live overseas vote. That would even things up as they will all vote Conservative. Presumably that idea will ll be dropped when Labour get in.

Heard today someone say his concern with Labour is the electorate really wants change, many of them will expect it from Labour, but their manifesto isn't really offering much.
So they'll have a very vast electorate, but not a very loyal one.
They've done a pretty good job of managing expectations I think, so they'll have a brief period of grace. They'll have to deliver real improvements to people's lives in the course of this parliament though. Restoring faith in politics is one of their missions, and that'll only happen with tangible improvement to public services, and progress on the cost of living crisis, which given the desperate mess they're inheriting, won't be easy to achieve.
Just back from voting. There’s a candidate on my ballot paper from the Liberal party, which I thought was a bit underhand maybe trying to steal votes from the Lib Dems
Anyway, will be looking out for the St Ives & Penzance constituency results later. If the Lib Dems kick the Tories out you can all thank RANDY power for that.
