Tbf, our first 2 fixtures are horrible. 12:30 in Wales then 12:00 on a Sunday. ****e.

I know it's poor support but when I can sit here for two hours, have a few pints, watch the match and still have change from £20 it's tempting tbh. And if I went it would mean someone closer wouldn't get a ticket ...

... at least that's what I tell meself <laugh>

I think Luton will be right up there fighting for another promotion. They’ve lost Barkley, as expected, but still have some very good championship players on their books…

Great signing for them that imo.
Definitely. They’ve just signed Ahadme from Ipswich for £1M too. Nathan Jones is gaffer there and he’s managed to sign Luke Berry on a free from Luton. 17 PL appearances last season, he’ll do a good job in L1.

Last few days have seen the club media and PR dept shine. Some cracking interviews and press conferences. I wonder what today might bring us. Feels like they are really pushing the boat out on fans hearts and minds.

A Dan Neil contract maybe?

I was pretty vocal in slating them through the cluster **** that was last season but they are really on it at the moment. Night and day.

He seems to be a 6 too. 23 years old and played 85 games in the Scottish prem and 65 in league one. Could be canny

Think its when his comment about going for quality is being called s****e just because the last few windows havent been of the standard needed

I get he rubs folk up the wrong way but as you said its easy to ignore him

Also well done on Speakman for getting rigg to sign a new deal, we doesnt get a lot of praise in his role but thats a class deal to get agreed
Some people just need a reason to moan and they need a focal point for their displeasure at the moment that is KS. I think what he said was bang on and I have been saying for a long time now that our club has had to do hard work building the academy and youth teams which unfortunately has meant the first team has suffered a little bit especially last season. But I feel we are now in a much better position to add some more established players in to the mix as we have a bit of depth behind the first 16 or 17 players which gives us a very strong and versatile club.
We will still have a youthful set up but in all honesty I think what has been achieved across the whole club in 3 years is very good and KS has been a big part of that restructuring and foundation build.
There have been mistakes and some of them very public mistakes but it does seem like we learn from them so for me let's see how we go this season and hope that our new HC and the rest of the club hit the ground hard and fast and get this club rolling in the right direction again.

Steve is probably just putting 2 and 2 together as sky sports reporting interest from the championship

Looks decent enough but all players do on highlight reels
