Pre-season is a funny old thing. Getting some minutes in the legs, getting used to a few challenges, trying to impress the boss.I see the Reading game is at CCS but the first 3 are at the Sports Village. Not expecting many for those.
Its not necessarily about the gameplan as they use so many combinations and change so many players. Its impossible to judge how the first few games will go from what you see in warm up matches. You'd probably learn more by watching training.
Is there any reason for not playing at CCS. They're hardly going to pull in the crowds, but it would give new players a feel for the stadium and the playing surface.
The last pre-season game I went to was Cheltenham away about 15 years ago. I was working in Cheltenham so popped in before driving home.
