cynical, boring repeated posts, always under attack, continuing the very same vendetta as always 'Mr i will not back down'.

i have seen the bloke post decent stuff but this personal battle needs to stop, i really do not blame either of them for replies but ffs it has gone on far too long...please, if nothing else, put each other on ignore.

That is a very narrow view of a football club. To place everything solely on first team affairs. Sure the first team is the tip of the spear but you have to have the foundations in place to provide strength in depth otherwise the first team will fall apart.

Once you have a structure in place the first team performance dictates how well it can be implemented.

Because our structure is based on attracting young players and giving them a pathway to the first team, along with a few bigger teams loanees who they want developing, the better the first team does the better the overall strategy does.

Would we send Rigg to a team full of kids scratting around the bottom of League One?

Speakman has said a number of times they don't want to rely on loans.

If we can get a couple of future stars on loan we'd be mad not to try. I'm not saying do a Bruce where everyone's on loan.

Need to get back to loaning players that we have no chance of signing permanently, our loans were so poor last year compared to the season before

But why run the risk when the club wants to carry the risk with our own players.

Any loans need to be with a view to singings permanently, or experienced player not getting game time.

I'd only do it in circumstances that Hudson outlined above. Special players. I agree with you that there's no point loaning what we've already got.

If we were offered Amad on loan, would you take it?

I believe from your first paragraph you are wrong but that is only my opinion.
Once you have a plan it can only be implemented if you have strong foundations which includes youth teams and commercial teams amongst others, as for the rest of your statement it all depends on the manager or head coach and the type of clubs and how well they are being run.
Jack Clarke for instance was sent to us whilst we were languishing in League 1 and that has not turned out too bad for him, and there are many other hugely successful players who have been loaned out to clubs who were struggling in divisions below to gain experience and maturity in how to progress their own careers. So again we will have to agree to disagree and I doubt we will find any common ground as like I have said before I tend to take a wider view and choose to look for the positives and in my opinion a more realistic view of my club and look at some of the words we sing at matches and while heartedly choose to support them through thick and thin.
It's not for me to tell you how to support your club but I will take you nick to that 1 word SUPPORT!
The club owes us nothing as supporters but some of believe we have a divine right for information when in fact we do not, they owe us nothing but we choose to support them nonetheless and hope that as custodians of our club they will do a good job.
The self entitlement of some supporters absolutely flabbergast's me at times and their need for instant gratification on minor subjects can be quite astonishing.
For me I choose to support and take great joy in that support. I love it when we are confident and playing well and hate it when we are playing poor and not so good but my support does not waiver and the optimist in me will always wait for our luck or fortunes to change and I will take the highs and the lows along the way because, that is what a true supporter does IMO.

We might only have a chance to buy because we’ve loaned a player. Promotion allows that possibility far more than remaining in the championship. It can also just be a means to and end in terms of securing promotion. Arguably Evans did that under Keane, doubt many think we shouldn’t have loaned him.
