Idles are smashing it old school
they’re brilliant live. Saw them a couple years ago at Brixton academy - gonna get a ticket for their tour this winter.

If yous are on about Dua Lipa her parents are refugees from the kosovo crisis.
She's mates with Lorik Cana.
She done a promo for fifa years ago, they asked who she supported and she said Spurs?!?!?! And the lads
Edit. Sorry seen your talking about someone else
Aye class, I've seen them twice I think.they’re brilliant live. Saw them a couple years ago at Brixton academy - gonna get a ticket for their tour this winter.
Good info mate, I was just guessing about the Albanian connection tbh.

Dua Lipa miming. Badly.
Where are the next generation of headliners? The bands you see years ahead and just know. Non existent. Idles are about the best, but too much of a blunt instrument.
I've been aware of Dua Lipa, as I assume many have, for quite some time although I never paid her much attention.
So, before I watched her headlining Glastonbury I thought I'd better check her out. I have to say she has absolutely everything except the very basics. She has a good voice, stage presence & performance, beauty, etc. The production, on her music, is absolutely top class, the range of instruments astounding and the musicians around her are totally professional ...
... but, for me, there's no soul and I don't mean in a 'soul music' way. There's nothing I haven't heard before, she just does it better than most, she's a pop singer.
I've even read the lyrics to her top songs which have lots on interesting words and phrases ...
... sadly, for me, they don't add up to much more than the title.
I'll watch tonight and hope i'm wrong.
I must admit when I saw them I said they’ve “ blown up” a bit!Wow, the Sugarbabes have bombed. Absolutely terrible.
We probably like different music but The Streets are good live and put on a show. They're on tomorrow
I noticed him as well. There are usually a few safc flags in the crowd as wellSaw a lad wearing the 92 cup final shirt in the VIP viewing area to the left of the stage during Bombay bicycle club set….it was during the song when Damon Albarn was on stage with them.

The streets will be mint. Seen them at glasto previously. Went by myself when all my mates went to see Beyonce. Was epic. Sunday night IIRC. Was like death on the Monday morning. Ended up on the session with a fellow streets fan who I discovered was a MLF from Hetton.

Class. Been into them since day dot. Think I was 14 when the first album came out and loved them since.
Just before Skinner reformed them he done a dj set in independent, which was class. He was posting on insta of him in Blandford street![]()
