Off Topic Glastonbury 2024

Medical reasons apparently. Been retired a while.

 

We saw her with Paul summer before last at Doncaster football club, they were fantastic, but I haven't seen her advertised anywhere since, I hope she is ok. ❤️

 

I've seen them 4 times now, she has a fantastic voice. The St Helens soul sister

 

Watching some PJ Harvey's set on bbc4, enjoyed that.
Very under rated imo.

 

Idles just coming up now on bbc4.

 

Aye they played St Helens the night before we saw them at Donny, my mate went.

 

Looks good for her age for sure. I've always liked that husky voice of hers.

Dua Lipa, it's a bit dull.

 

Just flicked through iPlayer couldn’t believe that Dua Lipa set was at Glastonbury. Looked like something off X factor Maybe I’m getting old

 

I see what you mean just watching her set. Great looking woman, sings well live, seems nice (I liked how she gave a shoutout to her whole team), clearly very popular. Just a bit hollow, lacking a certain something.

I had no idea she was English I think I'd assumed she was American.

 

Flick onto bbc1 now, it really is like x factor.

Googled her having no clue whatsoever, she's English born and bred with a briefish spell in Kosovo.

 

**** missed that. Seen Paul live loads but have been busy today.

Nothing would make me happier than a housemartins reunion!! Will have to watch on catch up.

I went to see who else was on and, by chance, switched onto BBC Scotland which has the NYE concert from Deacon Blue ...

... it was from Stirling Castle, about ten years ago, and still looks good now.
