and this is what is frustrating part, people constantly sticking other people under certain banners, when it is a case of not in my backyard across many parts of the country. It's easy to say someone from Kent is a racist, because they complain about the uncontrolled migration into Dover, when it dosen't affect their resources over in Cornwall/Wales/Liverpool blah blah blah. Let the boats rock up into some nice part of Cornwall or those few areas of lovely Wales, you'd soon see attitudes change. Especially if 800+ a day start rocking up on dinghies.
There's plenty of people down here who share those views too. I think a lot of people see it as a UK issue rather than a regional issue. But I think the South West takes more asylum seekers than any other region other than London and the South East
