6.30am, I had a really great start to father's day. Wet dream? No. Gently woken up with cards, presents and breakfast in bed? No. Instead soft lad here Is dreaming I'm playing football and am stood athletically on my toes near the goal line when a tap-in comes rolling near me. I dive down to try and stop it and find I've leapt out of bed, smacked my head, chest and upper arms on my bedside chest of drawers and knocked over the cans of 7-up I had there. And yes, I did miss the ball.
I was at the doctors the other day and was asked to provide a stool sample, a urine sample, a semen sample and a blood sample immediately. Terrified I was so I just left my underpants with the receptionist.
As I'm unable to get a dental appointment I've asked Captain Morgan to help. He's agreed to anaesthetise me, during this evening's games ... ... after which I'll extract my cracked molar. I'm only mentioning this in case I say anything rude or foolish during the course of the evening P.S. the procedure has already begun so, if you don't like anything I've posted today, you can all get f+cked!
Oof, bloody hell mate, that's drastic. I've always found the dental treatment spot on in Scotland tbh, had to visit Dumfries dental hospital a couple of times, once was on Easter Sunday as well. Both times had to have a tooth out. Hope it goes well, and spout whatever ****e you want....I really don't envy you doing this.
One half of it is out and the other is loose ... ... I'll tackle that when the Scottish match is on. Rum last night, Scotch tonight ... who says alcohol is bad for yer ...
The owners I share my horse with have a couple of their other horses running today and I’ve had these messages about them. Take it or leave it if anyone is betting on Royal Ascot. “Dashing Darcey will break from gate 25 and once again he will be ridden by Silvestre De Sousa. I am very happy with the horse's condition, I think he came out of his most recent win in good shape. I think the ground will be quicker this afternoon, and I think he still has to prove that he is as effective on a fast surface. But I am very happy with him, I think that he has a nice profile for this race, and hopefully he will prove competitive and give us reason to get excited.” - Roger Varian “ARCTIC THUNDER jogged up well this morning and I am really happy with him. The conditions should be ideal for him with the extra furlong and we know he goes well on the track. I’m not concerned about the draw and he is in a great place at the moment. It is a very competitive race but I am hopeful that he can run really well and be very competitive.” - Andrew Balding Both of our contenders sit on a competitive weight of 8-13 with official ratings of 92. ARTIC THUNDER is already proven on the track and should have no problem stepping back up to a mile under David Probert, who has ridden him to victory on both of his winning starts. DASHING DARCEY has yet to run at Ascot, but is unbeaten over 1 mile and his impressive start at Haydock latest suggests he will be very competitive. Both of our trainers have won this in recent years, with the Andrew Balding and David Probert duo taking home the trophy in 2014, and Roger Varian with KHALOOSY in 2020.
Draper won his first ATP title the other day (Stuttgart Open) and has just beaten Alcaraz at Queens, looks like he's fulfilling his potential after injuries. Should be one to watch at Wimbledon which is just around the corner.
For the first time in years, my garden nesting box that has regularly hosted Bluetits appears to be empty. I gave it the usual clean out last November, but nothing.
It can happen for no bad reason, disappointing though ... ... sometimes the parents reach the end of their breeding life and the chicks no longer use the nest. Fingers crossed for next year mate.
Finally found a way to keep the squirrels off the bird feeders. I've suspended the feeders in the middle of the living room window which takes them ages to reach ... ... when they get there I launch a tennis ball at the window and they fling themselves down. NB, no ornaments were harmed in the making of this post
I always thought we had one of the cheapest season cards in the league, apparently not! https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/s...oventry-city-season-tickets-compared-29395028
