This is a worry for me. Whoever is appointed has to make sure that Dodds and Proctor don't control any input into the players who are used to taking instructions from them. It'll never work. When any appointment is confirmed,it's going to be one of the key issues.

Well it’ll be a strange appointment from my point of view but if he was genuinely 1 of 5 they particularly wanted I’m pleased they’ve got him.

Have to say this where the silent PR approach utterly fails.
If he had been mentioned when we hired Beale, this would feel a little more like a deliberate choice and less like we have stumbled onto him.
Sorry to bang that drum but the club need to start understanding a very real benefit to PR and taking fans along for the ride.
