I'm not a fan of Alexander-Arnold in midfield. He's a right wing back at best and his defensive capabilities are weak, he should be nowhere near the middle of the park

Totally outplayed by Denmark imo. The TAA experiment needs to end, it’s not natural there, play a specialist. Foden has to be taken off the left, keep him on by all means but no good on the left. No width out there and trippier left exposed. Either swap him and saka or bring Gordon on. Nobody makes that run past Kane, we don’t look like getting into the final third, dreadful first half.
We need him on the ball more for sure. Feels like he's trying to be a hero every time because he doesn't know when he'll see the ball next.

Naaaaa Southgate just doesn't know how to get the best out of them some phenomenal players at his disposal. They don't play together enough either it's always chop and change to give others a chance of making the squad.
I'd be taking Bellingham off he's looked miles off it. Move Foden inside and stick an actual winger on the left. Agree with Kane too, been poor and dropping way too deep. Needed to change it this game.

Bellingham and Foden are both incredible players who can make things happen though, have to keep them on as long as possible. If France were losing come 60 minutes and Mbappe was having a stinker he’d still be the last person in their managers mind when it comes to subs.

I wouldn't be against this to be fair. Bellingham is pretty much playing in the 8 with Foden in the 10 anyway. Eze will just provide that extra threat on the left.
