Just to clarify something: WORLD-CLASS definition: 1. Someone or something world-class is one of the best that there are of that type in the world. That's from the Cambridge dictionary but Collins and Oxford agree. Kane doesn't have to be one of the best ever, that's simply never been what defines world class and wouldn't make any sense. It's whether they are the best, one of the best or as good as the best in the world. If Kane isn't world class then you'd need to suggest a few people for his position currently playing who are better. Lewandowski? Maybe. Fullkrug? Lol.
Haaland, and maybe Lewandowski, those are probably the only strikers you could seriously rate over Kane, out of the players who are playing right now. Fulkrug
Nah mate - failed at every major tournament for his country and his goals record against the Big 6 was abysmal
Are you Mrs RCLs dad by any chance Hates the French with a passion for some reason...think it's a rugby thing but ain't sure...I just stay away from the subject.
****ing Jenas is the worst for having an opinion before the replay then seeing the replay shows he’s completely wrong but insisting he was right anyway. **** player, **** pundit.
I'd argue that the criteria should also include a player that you would have in the team for the biggest games in the world The CL final for example.
Fair enough but realisitically I just don't think you'd have an out-and-out striker in a current world XI as a team with Mbappe and a bunch of other forwards would probably be stronger. I'm not convinced I'd have Haaland or any of the alternatives above Kane if I was playing a traditional striker so he'd end up being my default choice if I had to.
