Means nothing tho

Lolkaku is dogshit mercenary and we all know it.

I think that makes him a very good footballer - without question ...

But would Napoli have won the students without Maradonna? - would that Argentina side have win the World Cup? - can't prove it - but doubt it very much - that's a world class player ... Maradona, Zidane, Cryuff, Messi, Ronaldo, Pele, Eusebio, Fat Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Beckenbauer, Bobby Moore, Bobby Charlton, Gullitt ... are you really suggesting Harry Kane walks in that company? ...

Let's just say our parameters are very different...<laugh>

Mate you didnt just list World class players there.
You listed the best players to have EVER graced the game <laugh>
To me, world class, means he can perform on the world stage, ie for the top teams in Europe, for his country and in the Champions League.
I think Kane proved beyond doubt that he can do that.
The players you listed are a class above....well everybody, really.
And no Kane hasnt entered that group, maybe because his career doesnt have the passion and romance of the players you listed and the multiple great sides they all played in, and the comps they all won, but that wasnt the question, the question was "Is Harry Kane world class", and for me yes, a player who can be inserted into any team in the world and grab 20+ league goals a season AND perform in Europe AND perform for his country, has to be considered world class.

So just like Lukaku then - minus the honours? <laugh>

It's a difficult one and probably a lot played on words... Is Kane a world class player, yes....but...he needs to fill that club or national trophy void. Hopefully he will pick up a trophy with Bayern next season and we can rest this argument once and for all.

No, Lukaku had one good season at Everton, and two good seasons at Milan.
H e has done **** all else in the other 10 or so season of his career.
Maybe you could have argued at his peak Lukaku was world class, but that didnt last very long

In some ways I'm just playing with you mate ... much as I did with the lightweights previously ... although I do honestly think he's short of World class - last Englishman I'd put in that category would be Gascoigne... have to admit, got great hopes for Bellingham 'tho ... different gravy <ok>
