Again. 120 days is just silly. We had an interim head coach. Why would we have hired a permanent head coach. We didn't need two head coaches.

It's 45 days.

This isn't me defending the club. I'm pretty arsey at the club. But 45 days ought to be a strong enough criticism without the need to turn to hyperbole which makes us look obtuse and unreasonable in our complaints.

Interim aye. So the wheels shouldn't have already been in motion when Dodds was in charge? They probably were and Still pied us off, but the succession planning seems scattergun at best.

Why is "permanent" suddenly important? The club made the decision to put Dodds in place until the end of the season. So the clock starts after the Sheff Wed game

Of course it does. You appoint an interim manager. You dont then wash your hands of it and deal with it later, you proactively get on the hunt to find a permanent manager to take the club forward longer term.

Disagree. As you rightly point out the club appointed an interim head coach till the end of the season. One of the reasons for this was to ensure they got the right man for the job this time around. This gave them time.

So the 120 days being referenced is relevant as they should have been using those days to identify targets and have several plans in place for if their main targets turned them down. After all isn’t this what KS meant by ‘succession planning?’

This clearly hasn’t happened so they deserve all the criticism they are getting as it’s been an utter shambles.

Yes !
I bloody loved it, no one was breaking the fourth wall and telling the audience off for laughing at innuendo around then :emoticon-0102-bigsm
I’m with you there, Tony G. In our house it was unmissable (although my sister couldn’t understand what we were laughing at). Pity it isn’t being repeated. Can’t remember the title of the show.

Of course what does? Did you reply to the wrong conversation?
