The irony of trying to save money, losing them an asset for probably quarter of his value.Rigg can sign a pro deal wherever he wants from today. So important we get him signed as he would instantly become a £10mill+ asset.

I was just explaining the situation.
If the finances are a barrier to appointing a new head coach then, as you say, it's a complete false economy. The players are non plussed at best, fuming at worst, over what's going on with the head coach search - we've got assets worth tens of millions of pounds becoming increasingly disillusioned and suddenly becoming receptive to other club's overtures, willing to hear what they have to say where as previously they were dismissed out of hand. Once you get to that point and heads have been turned, it's pretty tough to turn them back again. The irony of trying to save money, losing them an asset for probably quarter of his value.
Seems a decent player. We might have a chance at Millar now - https://x.com/PNEPlug/status/1802790788192952423
Peter Ridsdale on Liam Millar: "Liam has been very honest with us, saying he loves the club and will come back tomorrow, but wants to play left wing. And we have said we love him and want him back tomorrow, but we want him to play left wing-back..."
Where do you get this from, has anyone actually come out and said anything along these lines or are you basing how the players feel on the way this forum seems to feel?If the finances are a barrier to appointing a new head coach then, as you say, it's a complete false economy. Though, having said that, you'd have to assume a good head coach appointment now could do that. Unfortunately my faith in that regard is now pretty much extinguished - sorry, I'm beaten...for now.

Bit different, Millar was only there on loan. Think it would be like Styles saying he'd only join permanently if he was going to play centre midfield. What an odd statement, imagine if KLD came out and said something like this about Jack Clarke playing left wing back.
Was linked here in Jan wasn’t he? £10m is mentalI was under the impression that Everton couldn’t really spend and had to sell players…

Nice. Get Bishop sold and loans for Young/Richardson and replace them with Moore. Good business. You must log in or register to see images
Agreed. It’s great knowing we’ve got highly rated youngsters coming through in that department. Young is a real prospect.Nice. Get Bishop sold and loans for Young/Richardson and replace them with Moore. Good business.
West Ham are considering a move for him. No surprise, good playerRyan Sessegnon released by Spurs. Would have him in a heartbeat
