Had a customer here in LA that said his family in Israel told him Robbie Keane is coming to Sunderland......total madness that this is now going worldwide.....couldn't make this stuff up right? Next it will be the White House issuing a statement who's going to get the job. I just want somebody appointed so we can get on planning for getting into the Premier League.....onward and upwards.

I’d rather go through the entire season without a manager than appoint McKinnes tbh, Bob

To be fair, if it wasn't for the bad press that follows Terry I think he'd probably make a good manager, well liked as a coach and has similar traits to the 2006 keane

People saying Lampard. **** it bring him. The positives I can see,

could do well in the champ

    good with young players

    good connections

probably idolised by most of our squad as they’ll have watched him growing up

also **** it we could do a lot worse with names like Robinson and Challinor going around

Not a clue, but I can't recall him being linked with any vacancies or even hinted at being any good / rated as a coach

Disagree. Keane would earn a lot respect than Terry imo.

I don’t think he’ll be anywhere near the job either way like.

It'll take him a few weeks to negotiate with the wives.

Dean Smith's assistant at Villa and Leicester. Trusted enough by Chelsea's academy. Not saying I want him but he's done a decent apprenticeship in coaching.

Appointing John Terry would at least make Speakman only my second least favourite person at the club.

I hope we do go down obscure foreign route so they don’t come in with any preconceptions they might just get the time they need then

    Stop Crying Frank Lampard!!

Can hear this being sung by large sections of away fans this season, should we appoint him
