Probably to do with every season we were in L1 the were a PL club, attendance figures mean **** all if your comparing to PL.
We have a PL fan base and foundations to be a PL team.
Any team with parachute money to spend will be more attractive than us
However I'm sure it's been quoted that he walked away because we wanted an answer now. That I praise the club for , if he wants to wait to see what better offers are available then **** him

No mate, I'll either find a publisher or satisfy myself with having finished it ...

... I'm just enjoying the experience especially when I write something that makes me laugh out loud.

That's quite something when it comes to you unexpectedly from a part of your brain you didn't know you had <laugh>

And who can blame him. He left Hull in May ffs, and because we have ran out of ideas weve suddenly shown an interest in him. Its embarrassing

Absolutely, a lot of jumping to conclusions going on. Still choosing a team in Europe over us and Rosenior wanting to go for a job where he'd have arguably the best squad in the league and the conclusion people are drawing is that they just don't like Speakman.

I'd much rather wait till we have facts before I have absolute head loss over the situation when it could be any number of reasons. I'm sure some truth will come out eventually.

Hus contract is up in september. Maybe we replace him with better. Does nit mean we abandon the plan. Just improve it

I've got no doubt he's a difficult character but this seems to the basis of a lot of rumours that could be looked at differently.

People saying "the system is too rigid; the manager won't be involved in transfers, will have tactics decided for him". Or is it that we have a DoF and Head Coach system in which the Head Coach isn't the sole person involved in transfers and is picked because he is adept at a certain tactical style? But people are allowing their dislike of Speakman to make them believe there is something sinister in this.

People saying "Speakman insists that Dodds and Proctor are the new man's assistants'. Or is it that the club want to retain two good coaches and want the new man to incorporate them into his staff? But people are allowing their dislike of Speakman to make them believe there is something sinister in this.

A horrible thought just crossed my mind. John Terry says he had a great interview here when Johnson was sacked. He said he really got on well with Speakman. I wonder, I just wonder...
