45 this year. Honestly. This ****ing club would be the last thing I would think about at night and would influence my mood for the day from first thing in the morning. They would tie my stomach in knots. Any sort of dig at them would leave me raging. It basically made me act like a 30 year old child. However more important things in life, and the fact that the sport itself has continued to become more of a joke, so not seeing the point in getting wound up about it anymore, has left me more chilled. I dont even talk about the game to anybody. I've always been surrounded by Town fans, be it my mates or at work. They dont even talk about football anymore. If not for this forum, I would probably care even less.
One by one the alleged candidates are dropping out and theres clearly a reason why. Is the structure ridiculously rigid? Can they work with Speakman? Worries over transfer policy or budget? Will we not pay the wages or compo? Days and weeks are being wasted when the squad needs bags of work, just look at how we ended the season. By the time they 'imminently' appoint someone we'll be playing catch up with everyone else. At this point its also glaringly obvious to other candidates they're plan F too. It doesnt give vibes of an organised, well ran club at all. We're at the point of chucking ****e at a wall and seeing what sticks. Its a mess, and by this stage anyone not seeing that is burying their heads in the sand.
Testosterone starts dipping at the 35-40 range, this mellows people out and they care less (read; get less angry) about things like football.
Or are the journos just guessing at names and most of these lads haven't even been interviewed? I don't get people losing their **** at gossip and rumours. There has been a single communication from the club saying things are in progress. Every Tom, Dick and Harry on twitter has an opinion and too many on here are basing their rage and fewm on the ill conceived opinions of credential-less twitter wanabees

No say in who you buy, play or set up, but the bullet if you fail What are Speakman's credentials for wielding so much power over potential managers/coaches? Does he have his FA badges? It's like putting me in charge of surgeon recruitment at Sunderland Royal. Ludicrous.
The club has been incredibly tight-lipped since the new ownership came in, many of our signings were out of the blue, this indicates to me that the clubs contact with the media is limited and probably only used when beneficial to the club. If any of these journos do get real information it's probably from a third-party and quite rare.
