Who do we look too now then?

is the Cifuentes link genuine? If so I think he’s every bit as good as a rohl and would be genuinely excited by it

Lampard? Does nout for me, people will have the same concerns as they did for Rosenior, talented squad but unable to get them over the line, will be accused of being cheap but no way he comes cheap

any other suggestions? Is maric still an option?

Cifuentes and Maric should be top of the list.

The likes of Heckingbottom can **** off for me.

Well im done, not sure what im more done by - the club still not appointing a manager or loads still believing everything they read online

I get folk getting frustrated but none of us know exactly what has happened but are believing what is being said by journalists. Folk have made their minds up about all these managers turning us down but we dont know that for sure.

Look the whole thing hasnt been handled well by the club but we dont know the ins n outs

Ill make judgement on the whole process once someone is announced. I know some wont be happy until KS, Dodds n proctor leave the club

Laying off here as just find we all keep going round in circles and are probably getting each other more n more wound up

Avoiding social media until we announce someone

Hopefully we hear something soon fellas
100% mate. People talking about cancelling Season Cards based on twitter rumours <laugh>

For the past decade my mental capacity has slowly put football and SAFC on the backburner. No more does it effect my moods like it used to before around the Martin O'Neill appointment. Since then we have gone through nerve jangling relegation scraps, relegation x2, dodgy ownership, league 1 stability etc. (Even when we got promoted from League 1 I was like 'hmmmm, great!?') None of those events got my back up like it normally would have done. After all, its always been a struggle for the majority of the time. But the last 6 months is starting to irritate me more than anything in the recent past. I think its because, for the first time in ages, we seemed to be on an upward trajectory, we seemed to be the business. Eventual lower/mid table Premier League stability was a possibility. A club to be proud of again. Now it seems that due to bad luck / management / ownership, we seem destined / determined to start struggling again. You'd think it was done on purpose. Like, 'we cant have any prolonged feel good factor at Sunderland, its just not on, where's that self destruct button?!'

Frustrating! It will take some managerial appointment, and some money spent, to get anywhere near the heights of our 1st season back in the championship. Comfortable mid table will be an achievement as far as I'm concerned. I fear that wont be good enough for some of the more vocal amongst us. And whoever we eventually do get will be under pressure from the off and under pressure by xmas.

It’s actually mad to say, I am no closer to having an idea who will replace Beale then I was in February

If cifuentes link is genuine, it means Nixon has been right about a couple of things

Liam Rosenior is OUT of the race for the Sunderland job in a shock twist.

Rosenior pulled out of a second interview with the Black Cats after thinking over the move.

The former Hull City chief is hoping for a chance of the Burnley vacancy although insiders claim others are ahead in the chase.

Sunderland are now looking again for a manager.

They will have to dig deep to land Martin Cifuentes from QPR or move further down their list.

So far we've had a "Shock twist and U-Turns". Sounds like an album name.
