Clever tactic by the club really. We wait and wait and wait. They appoint Bungle from Rainbow and we are all delighted, at last.

All of these scenarios can only work if KLD is deliberately trying to avoid promotion and all the money that brings into the club ...

... it's much more likely, but less intriguing, if he's trying to get us promoted without incurring financial penalties or putting us in heaps of debt.

There are increasing amounts of clubs doing that and another will go bust sooner rather than later. We're heading towards a situation whereby most clubs will be owned by consortiums of American hedge fund outfits.

As has been proved with Everton they're not always worth a dime ...

... yet their supporters were absolutely desperate for them to take over.

It's all becoming far removed from the game I grew up to love.

I think I’m true when I say Rosenior people could live with and while won’t get excited will back. Maric on the other hand will add an excitement factor.

Personally Maric would add a nervousness factor, nothing against his ability just thinking about our form at the end of the season and the fact he hasn't been head coach for a single game of men's football.

Surely if we are having trouble getting coaches to agree to the terms and conditions we have to evaluate them to see if they are a bit unrealistic?

I mean that's obvious, the first one is a wage cap, but after that things like contract length, which staff are to be retained etc will all factor into if a new head coach wants to work here.

Controversially, perhaps who the head coach must play, not on a saturday-to-saturday lineup level, but things like, "we expect Rigg to make 20 league appearances this season".

Wage cap I do agree with as its part of the PSR rules and clubs will have a lot on adjusting to the new wages levels when the full 70% part comes in (next year? i think)

Keeping our wages just below the requirements puts us in a better position than those clubs throwing over 100% of income at things.

Agree. I'm pro keeping things tight, I'd love us to be a sustainable club, the likes of Bournemouth and Brighton managed to do it and are still able to compete, I'm sure they're the model we're aiming for.

I hope its not Brighton as they owe everything to Bloom and his incredibly deep pockets. Even they admit if he ever wanted his £450 million back they would be knackered.

They also gambled an awful lot getting to where they are now and whilst they have reaped the rewards, its a unique strategy that needs an owner to fund it massively

We're currently one of a number of clubs involved in losing or replacing a manager. Leicester have not only lost theirs, they have financial issues and possibly a points deduction, so I'm told.

Are we more of a laughing stock than them or Sheff Utd who were humiliated in the PL, have a clown as a manager and are owned by somebody or other.

We will appoint a manager, we will hold onto players we like and we will sign others ...

... that sounds pretty much like every other club in our position.

I'm not sure how embarrassing that is tbh, might just be me.

They are according to their accounts this year, but is taken them a very long time and also a lot of the Owners cash (and unique data model) to get them to it.
