XG is expected goals based off the plays within a particular game, XGA is the same but goals against. These are rolling averages, meaning it's not each games XG but an average that is collated game after game. It looks like they were getting bested (on average) for the first 35 games, pulled it back until around game 55. Overall it's okay but not too impressive.
SSDD m8, oh and we’ve got a schoolboy mag wum in here trying, very amateurishly to get bites, that’s about it I believe.
Doesn’t explain other influences, injuries for example. Wonder what ours looks like over the same period.
Probably attracted to the fact hes foreign. Maric could quite easily turn out to be another beale, fantastic coach but not a head coach. My worry with rosenoir would be if it's a slow build up with no end product. Can't say I watched much of Hull last year, but reading other peoples posts, the style of play sounds a lot like under poyet, a lot of passing but going no where
His opponents may also have had an injury crisis etc You can only look at data like this and say all things being equal because anyone anywhere can suffer or succeed due to circumstances beyond their control.
For some reason had in my mind it was this Friday Suppose if it is to drag out another couple of days it’s not the end of the world. Apart from driving us all insane
It also sounds like he didn't have a great deal of say in transfers, so maybe he played that way because the squad he was given, that suited them. If He's given a young energetic side (that just needs a striker) etc, then maybe the football he plays is more attacking and progressive.
So true, like the current ones of 1) LR ready to sign but wants 2 people 2) Germans coming over (so maybe Maric) 3) KS seen at the airport My response was just to put my tuppence worth in to a hypothetical scenario that other people had an alternative view. As I say just my view but we can't do anything about it so just have to wait until a decision is made.
I've no idea if what you're saying is true mate, could be, but you're as entitled as anyone to post whatever you like. This isn't Crown Court and anyone betting their house on what people post would want their heads examining. So it's hilarious to see an entire thread, on RTG, based on your one line post, have a look before their idiot Mods delete it Despite RTG being the source off endless ludicrous stories it seems 'everyone on here is weird' because of posts about rumours. And, to Super Ted Striker ... "Has Smugs art dealer confirmed this?" ... I can only say no. The art dealer, Ben Brown, is a personal friend of Glenn Fuhrman and would have no connection to 'these Germans', imo. He's not 'my art dealer', I was asked to work for him but Mrs Smug didn't like the contract so that was the end of my contact with him ... shame, I wanted it just for the football connection However, and bookmark this Ted, the Dell connection, as I said two days ago, isn't necessarily as dead as your wit
I was sitting in the bar of my local, with an old Sunderland mate, and said to him, "Just look at those two daft old withered gadgies over there mate, in twenty years we'll look just like that' ... ... he threw his head back and laughed at which point we realised we were sat opposite a mirror
It's genuinely to a point now where we need the new man and his team in. Not next week/week after, now. If someone is all in and wants to really make a go of it, get it done. We have really taken too long and over complicated the process due to structure we have self imposed. Flex a little and get going into the new season.
You're right but over this many games you can take something meaningful out of it. Sunderland haven't had a striker for 18 months, that will affect XG massively, but nobody looking at our data would take that into consideration because part of the managers job is to find a way. The fact they've finished 7th and had xg like on the graph suggests they're likely more efficient than average in taking chances, the data is so convoluted though it's hard to say for sure.
