Nobody knows who it's going to be, so how do they know Jansen was the best candidate? Some people just make stuff up and state it as fact
Got four days off now so will be constantly refreshing. That is what my life has been reduced to. And when the head coach is announced I’m expecting the “Heckingbottom was always our first choice…” quote.
Get the dog out on long walks to places with no mobile reception. I managed 4 hours recruitment free yesterday
'his PowerPoint had animations this time. I tell you what, he had the job when his coaching philosophy flew in from the side and had an aeroplane noise'
Or “Simon Grayson felt he had unfinished business here at SAFC and really impressed us with his flipchart presentations”.
Mind I wonder what they do in the interviews. I guess it’s about finding out about the personality because what does a football coach do to show they coach well on teams. You’d imagine they’ve made football decisions prior.
Ask them what style they would play with our current squad of players and what strengths and weaknesses we currently have (have you done any research?)
If you refer back...it was the subject of much debate amongst some of our more challenged colleagues......apparently it means "imminently"!
As soon as the statement was released I knew that people would micro analyse it. KLD must despair of this fanbase at times. FWIW I don't think he'd release that statement unless they'd decided on their man. Something will happen this week I'm sure. Then the debate about the word "imminently" will rage on just like the debate about what a "controlling share" meant.
to be clear I'm not micro-analysing it. I'm just reminding the people who said he said its imminent, that he didn't. And if they're going to analyse / hold him to account for what he said, they should at least hold him to account on what he actually said rather than what they wanted him to say.
