I was a regular reader of Your Views on the OS, back in the day, but never posted on there and apart from an interesting few months on ITWV’s, I’ve only ever posted on Not606.

My previous post saying you had left the forum was based entirely on a private message I received from @Dick Plumb1
That message stated that you had contacted him, and told him you would not be posting again on Not606 Charlton.
My mistake was to take him at his word.
I admit that you had not contacted me directly. I believed what Dick told me in his message,
I won't make that mistake again regarding third parties in any future messages that I receive. I'm sorry that I misrepresented you in that regard.
And I'm glad you are still happy to post on this forum, on the subjects you feel are worthy of your contributions.
I couldn't ask any more of any other member. And I'm glad that the time invested in getting your membership updated was well spent, not wasted.
I liked Vol and Tewks. AllHell was also a fave of mine.
Butterworth"s sudden disappearance took me by surprise. Pity. SuperChrissie was another Good'un.
I don't take kindly to being called a liar. Nick's message to me on X was. I have logged off for good. Keep in touch on here, meaning X. None of you know me and what sort of person I am. Yet it doesn't stop you having a go at me. My friends will tell you what I am like. I shouldn't really have bothered to reply, but I couldn't let it go.

Just for the record, I’m often in a dilemna as to whether to stay loyal to 606 as one of its three founding members 
or to skip it due to the amount of rubbish posted on here.
Each to their own , I’ll carry on posting on the football threads as and when.
I agree that both Tewks & Vol are excellent posters

However, just in case you are strong enough to engage with other posters who question your posts sometimes, perhaps you could assist us with cutting down on the “rubbish posted on here” by cutting down on your own.
The constant snipes at other posters and the forum itself may have gone unchallenged in the past, or they may not have done, I haven’t particularly noticed when we were on here at the same time in the past, but one thing is for certain - they won’t go unchallenged in the future while I remain on here.
Please cut out the snide comments about other posters and about the forum itself and then we can all get back to exchanging views on a wide variety of topics. And the key is EXCHANGING VIEWS. If you just want to post your own thoughts to yourself then it really is better to just buy a personal diary. Otherwise you run the risk of becoming Not606’s BB.
I don't really care who is lying or who isn't. The issue itself; two senior and long standing posters contradicting each other over a question of who isn't posting anymore - is unedifying in my view.
