@Dick Plumb1 has just sent me a private message to say that he and Royston will not be posting on this forum again. No explanation was given, but then none was required. It's entirely up to them of course. I expect Dick will be back in a few weeks, maybe in August when the new season kicks off. As for Royston, perhaps not. He was away for a couple of years last time he left - walking out while he was still the moderator here. It seems the trouble I went to, and the help given by @brb to activate his membership here, was wasted time. Hey ho. Until either one reappears, their contributions will be missed.
Hmm - Starting to wonder if pinky and perky are the same person. They seem to come and go together, start up forums together, and send pm's on each others behalf. If they are not the same person, they must be Very very close
As one of the founding members of 606 getting on for 20 years ago , along with AHLL & @The Penguin I’ll always look in on this forum & contribute on the *football * threads . (Assuming that I can find one).
I’m happy to post on 606 on football matters when there is something to discuss. I haven’t looked at either CL or ITTV in weeks and it’s refreshing , there’s too much bullshit on both and the same pub bores talking at each other. Things will pick up when we start signing & selling players, rather than speculating.,
Mr Hawtrey and I go back to "Your Views", the fans forum on the OS. It was very slow because it was heavily moderated, but they did keep it civilised.
