If you want a coach who has experience of coaching a team with 40k+ attendances then you are looking in a very very small pool.

Crowd size if a daft thing to use as a thing to judge pressure anyway, would much rather look at how the coach dealt with pressures from within the club in terms of expectations and just things going on at that club and with Hull and Derby he's dealt with a batshit crazy owner and a club just coming back from the brink with zero money to spend. He has more than enough experience and nous to do a good job here.

Wish we would talk about more relevant things like style of play, tactical intelligence, opinions of players who have played under them, track records of developing players, how do they look at youth and other more worthwhile things.

I don't, that would be ridiculous.

Brighton don't care about the level he's coached at, his age, his experience so why should we? This is purely about style and play and fit for the club. Things that actually matter in the current game.

you’re right. I’ll add they only matter if you also recruit players to that style. We haven’t been recruiting to a specific style thus far at least

Nothing new but an interesting read ...

... they'd brought in some quality players.

Would be even happier with him after reading that to be honest <laugh>

I know owners, and fans to an extent, expect result in one hit, but in 18 months he has clearly turned around a floundering club. Should he have made top 6? They could have, but when you have Leeds and Southampton and all their quality, which is miles more than Hull, arguably only West Brom and Norwich were there for the taking. Much between the 3 squads? Not so sure. Maybe Rosenior lacked a bit of know how that Wagner and Corberan had. Maybe an effective selection process asks which coach may have learned the lessons we cant afford them to learn here?

If he is the man I would consider us to have done well to get him, having finished 16th with a squad that looks really light. Same with Jansen. The club are doing well if they get either imo.

They just do what they think is right. Fair play. No pre-conceived ideas. Be interesting to watch this one play out, very high reputation in Germany.

Kind of being my point about structure and the poor job the club have done with implementing a specific style. Going from Potter to De Zerbi to Hürzeler is superb continuity, the players that fit Potter will still fit now. Just a top class club.

It'll be interesting to see how many applaud that appointment ...

... while arguing against Jansen.

I've been calm throughout this process, as long as they get the right man (or on face value seems like the right man) but I honestly feel some of our fan base would lose their **** over this!

He's not exactly too dissimilar to Rosenior, who you are arguing against. Infact I think Hürzeler and Rosenior are a better comparison than Hürzeler and Jansen.
