Would this mean that clubs who were over or on the limit last season can now get away with it if it is passed?
Don't think this would be a good thing tbh. The teams with parachute payments already outspend everyone else, with this it would be ridiculous. They would be able to spend PL levels of money without having to sell as much as they do now.
Yep, doesn’t sound good at all…

Championship clubs starting to sign players. Seen anything of this lad, @Scout73?

Jamal Lowe available on a free. He’s another who should have plenty of championship interest…

These financial regulations are just ridiculous. I'm not sure what purpose they're supposed to serve at all.

Glad to see Chelsea under pressure mind. They have been a disgrace over the past year or two.

And not surprisingly Chelsea, Villa and Newcastle all supposedly supporting Man City in this ridiculous case against the Premier League.

Also Villa are proposing an increase in the amount of money a club can lose over a 3 year period which looks likely to be approved.

Corrupt as owt.

I fully believe Villa have breached FFP/PS rules like. Owner is mega rich. Few years ago sold their stadium name for exactly what they needed to apparently comply, now have the 5th highest wage bill in the PL.

Looked up net transfer spends over the past five years earlier.

Don't think City were even in the top five. They were less than Villa and closer to West Ham than they were to the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and United.

This is what pisses me off more than anything. United and Arsenal have outspent City by a long shot lately but instead of trying to work on their own failures they just point the finger at City because they’ve potentially breached FFP a decade ago. Boring **** crack. How anyone thinks it’s fair for United to be allowed to continually outspend everyone because they pumped loads of money in before FFP was a thing is beyond me.
