What are the Feyenoord fans saying out of interest? Slot plays quite an exciting brand of football, so presumably Jansen's style can't be too dull if they see that as an appealing replacement?
Know little of Jansen, but know AZ is a proper club that always competes. 4 years there talks to me, so it certainly doesn’t offend me the link. I’ve messaged my pal who’s a massive Feyenoord lad see what he’s got to say.
Doesn’t seem great when everyone is singing off the same hymn sheet about staff issues. Wouldn’t mind Jansen like, hopefully signs that if we have missed out on Still we aren’t going to settle for whoever is easiest to bring in.
I'm not sure there's anything in the link mind. I know people are saying that the ITKs all pass things on in good faith but I do wonder if there are some Sunderland 'fans' making an easy bit of money out of the betting market now. I'm not talking about anyone on here by the way. It's fairly easy and formulaic to get people dancing to a tune if you're so inclined. Even more so when you have shameless know nowts like Nixon willing to indulge it and jump on the bandwagon/follow the crowd.
Nixon man haha. Feel like a Sunderland fan will post a random name on X then a few chuck a fiver on so their odds drop and Nixon says yes we are interested in them. Any name mentioned he says we're interested in, he'll be right eventually..probably..
Are there any pieces on Jansen floating about? Like videos or breakdowns / analysis of his style. I know nothing about him other than he looks like a decent bloke
I added this edit to the end of my post: Even more so when you have shameless know nowts like Nixon willing to indulge it and jump on the bandwagon/follow the crowd.
Response from Feyenoord Kenny ‘very good’ I will tell you this is quite wordy for Ken if he ain’t full of vodka and weed ha.
Clutching at straws here but Jansen would at least seem to be able to get the best out of young players looking at his AZ history. Also got to think it would be great for Seelt.
I agree with this. I remember in the early days of Speakman, it was discussed on here about how we were planning to play a certain way, bring in players to achieve that style and a head coach to match. But if the head coach didnt work out, we'd have several managers with similar styles in the back of our mind for smoother transitions if we felt it was right to change the head coach. Even though I think this is difficult to achieve faultlessly, the concept sounds great but doesnt feel like we've got this in place at all following the fallout of Mowbrays sacking and now Beales. Got to improve with this imo.
Dutch people, including Seelt, speak better English than most English people I know so I can't see it making much difference to him either way mind if that's what you mean?
