But for it to not affect the transfer business, it needs to be done soon. Someone being the right choice must also involve timing, if they aren't willing to come this week then for me they are no longer the right choice.
The club appoint players without the involvement of the manager, I agree, it will make it more difficult to recruit, however, that's a consequence they appear willing to accept. Getting the right manager is the main priority at the moment. Need to have this sorted before the club start their pre-season games in July.

I've already said they do, but smart agents and smart DoFs of big clubs aren't sending their players here if we don't have a coach.

If we are willing to accept negatively affecting our transfer business then thats just simply not good enough.

Pre season starts end of June. Whoever comes in needs to first of all move here, then get settled into a new area, a new house, appoint a staff if allowed, get to know the players and the staff, do analysis, plan pre season sessions and a whole lot more. That takes time, which is running out. Simply saying it's fine if they are here by the pre season friendlies is not true.

I believe the club are trying for the right manager, when it happens will depend upon loads of factors. I'm not going to set them any timeframe, but will start to worry if no one is in place by pre-season friendlies. Keep the faith marra.

I'd be happy with Still if all the hype translated into positive results. Said it before, I'll say it again, literally nobody had a clue who he was up until Mowbray got pedalled. FFS, I got Hartlepool to the Premier league on footy manager, doesn't make me an automatic candidate for da job.

No update since Sunday night.

Its quiet..that good be good or bad at this stage.

However, we need an update from a trusted media figure today or tomorrow.

A manager/coach is needed now.

FTM
any idea about other potential candidates?

The footy manager thing is old now and nowhere near his actual story. Also, people had definitely heard of him before Mowbray, it also makes no difference anyway. Everyone just wants someone in, and he is at least highly regarded it seems so better than most of the usual suspects, and certainly better than Beale.
