Now he’s at the helm as well as bringing players in (as well as return loanees) he should be looking at players going out. Romeo and Robinson immediately spring to mind.
Agree about shipping out too but again, I just hope he's given sufficient autonomy to get on with things.
I guess the devil is in the detail of his contract.
After last season's performances, he's got a lot to do to convince me, but if he's here then he has to be given a chance.
A lot has been said about possible contract incentives for success being offered but you can't incentivise basically poor football management at this level - you've either got it (McKenna) or haven't (Rooney).
Not sure which side Bulut leans towards, but I suspect we're about to find out.
That's absolutely right and as I said earlier, providing he's given a fair crack of the whip, we're about to find out.
McKenna will likely go into bigger things.
Rooney though? He’s being given cash (see below) but it won’t be a blank cheque book for him. Will they cash in on Whittaker?

Well let's get business done as early as possible. Try and find some speed and creativity, some back up where required, hold on to Ng, get some meaningful friendlies organised and start the season like we did last season...and keep it going.

I'd settle for 4, with football that's easier on the eye. A solid plan 'A'.
And, as I said elsewhere, round pegs, round holes.
With breakthrough seasons for a couple tyros.
And a credible plan 'B'.
Not asking for much. It's what we need to demonstrate progress though. Showing another step on the journey.
Part of the reason for our relegations straight after promotions has been a lack of that journey.
We shouldn't just plan for promotion, but plan to stay there.
I think with the last two promotions there have been 'oh $h!t' moments.
I feel the 'smaller clubs' that have stayed up had a plan of what to do once they got there.
