I think the biggest issue for people is the fact he’s been the number 1 target for so long and the club haven’t been able to close the deal, despite having plenty time.

I’ve listened to podcasts he’s done and read loads of articles about him and his tactics and I just think he’s a good fit.

I think the mileage in that is limited if he wants the Lens job, they’re in a pretty strong position and their answer is probably “ great, go and manage them then.”

Doubt they’d get 38k in ligue 2. They are a decent club and a great opportunity though. If they are serious about him it would be a strange decision to come here if we’re honest.

95% he goes to RC Lens...but SAFC still trying.

If he goes to Lens he's just a ginger **** that will jump ship as soon as a better offer comes along, if he signs for us it shows how great he is and was always committed on coming here in the first place.
Either way I'll just change my opinion depending on the outcome

I've no doubt you're right but, for France, it does indicate their size.

Well I'd say that IF you believe strongly in Plan A and you believe there is still a chance (insert Jim Carrey gif here) then you go for Plan A until all hope is extinguished. That doesn't necessarily reflect badly on Plans B & C
