this is mental even for end of season, no one is any further forward with this will still business apart from a few photo shopped posts around the place and nothing with any real evidence yet there is a (seemingly growing) amount of negativity on social media.

pretty sure when WS was first talked about i posted i was not struck by him so i am not too bothered if he comes or not although i will give him the same support i will give to whoever we finally get...if this really is his new agent or them acting on his instructions then i honestly would prefer someone else rather than a bloke willing to turn his head as soon as another offer shows up.

as for the current regime i am happy to see them continue but these next few weeks are vital, they have to hire a decent coach and back him with some transfers, players we have needed for a year or two that can hold the team together and let the younger lads 'do their stuff' when things are no going too well on the pitch...but this could well be thier last chance imo.

the sad part is that we will never know the truth which means both the overly positive and the overly negative of us can continue to post whatever they wish...i just hope we get some good news, fast.

I think it's completely self inflicted by the club. After a year of increasingly poor decisions more and more people are losing their trust and more inclined to believe negative interpretations of events.

oh aye, there is blame there no doubt...i am still (just) in the 'they have earned some time' camp but that cannot last forever, they have to get it all right and show the progress within this 5 year plan.

Interesting piece on Sky News currently about the increasing numbers of people choosing to embrace misinformation as truth.

Such a very interesting phenomena.

Given the erosion of trust in proper journalism and frankly its inability to keep up with the internet... people don't know where to look and plenty of horrid ****ers like to exploit it.

Our technology has out evolved us as a people and in an age where it has never been so easy to gain intelligence, we have never been so stupid.

It is interesting. And very frightening. I've mentioned before about an interview I saw with that Neil DeGrasse Tyson talking about the psychology of the lone wolf being more attractive to believe than the establishment.

Have they mentioned the two years or three years recently where a lot of what the media told us was misinformation turned out to be true?

Governments, media, organisations, they made their bed and opened they way for a load of crackpots because they wouldn't just tell the truth. Now nobody believes anything.

But we digress.

That's very wise and sadly true at the same time.

People can come up with the most ludicrous idea and always find another nutter, on the internet, to confirm they're right.

It's hilarious when people say 'ignore the news and do some research' ...

... that research always turns out to be some lonely weirdo bashing their brains out on a 20 year old computer.

Life is best when it's simplified, yet people do their best to complicate it.

BTW - Anais Nin, what a f*ckin great name <laugh>

I think if KLD surrounded himself with better people we'd see the owner we all want. Look at the difference already that Bruce has made with off the field things. The key is knowing who to surround yourself with, Short could never get that right no matter how much money he spent.
KLD has bottled it.. This should have been signed and sealed months ago, all for what?...Money and a relaxation of the plan?.
