It's way too simplistic to say you should have a number one target and just go get them. Doesn't work like that.

I do think though that after having no first team head coach for approaching 100 days now under the guise that we'd have the pick of the coaches this summer that an appointment should've been made by now. The only way writing off the best part of 3 months of a season is acceptable is if we get a good appointment.

Magnus posted that terms had been agreed between the club, Still and his brother and they were working on getting 2 other coaches in. Could your scenario have happened, agreement has since been reached and Fishpastes contact is passing on old news?

That had occurred to me that maybe fishpaste was being used to send a message.

Then he started slagging the club off and I quickly backtracked.

Still's representatives could absolutely be posturing for bargaining power though.

What a wild time it is in this crazy little corner of the internet.

Could absolutely be the case. It's all very opaque and we are just going to have to enjoy some of that squeaky bum time.

Yeah ok. Maybe a little simplistic, but I'd imagine you'd begin with a shortlist of those available, and who have been sounded out as interested. If the list becomes exhausted, then something mustn't be right and you'd modify your structure, process and/or plan. Either way, it shouldn't take as long as this.

What happened to the days you wanted a manager and he just resigned and joined you the following week <laugh>

Oh, I forgot I’m not allowed to have any misgivings of the way the club is run on this thread. Get a life man.

Personally think Still has been offered a better deal elsewhere, which if that is the case then fair enough but why everytime is there a massive mess with us? Surely for that alone questions need to be asked if the with higher ups at our club, im losing interest in it all
