With Evans going, I wonder how they'll look at Triantis this summer. Obviously, head coach pending, but as I predicted he's looked okay at centre midfield as opposed to centre back. He'd be canny cover for centre and defensive midfield should we sign a proper no.6 this summer. Anyone else think Ba needs to go on loan? He's done canny at times, has been victim to us losing Mowbray I feel. Needs to be playing 35 games next season at a level similar to this.
He was 17 when he first signed here. Turned 18 in the October. I’m hoping we sign a left sided CB to partner Ballard. Alese as the back up.
Sorry but Triantis should be nowhere near our team next season and needs another loan, probably in league one. He had a couple of decent games for Hibs in midfield but the games were snales pace. He struggled in the more competitive high press games and ended up getting dropped and quite frankly was embarrassing.
New manager will get the best out of him if he’s got owt about him. Best option down the right by a mile.
If it's Still I think Ba will feature heavily. French speaker which obviously helps but more so because of the wingers he's preferred at Reims. Ba fits the mould and I wouldn't bet against him kicking on under Still.
Hopefully mate. I think there’s a lot of potential there and I hope it’s us who bring it out in him. Needs to cut the petulance out of his game like frustrating at times.
I disagree. I like him but if the gaffer can get it out of him then hopefully they can get it out of Roberts.
He's a good player,I like him,but it's his decision making that frustrates. Hopefully, our next coaching team,Still or whoever, will be able to work with him so he understands more when to run, when to pass, when to shoot etc.,when to produce his tricks and when not to.
Ba made 39 league appearances this season, he made 27 last season. No chance he goes out on loan in my opinion.
He was poor at the back end of the season like, as were a lot of players to be fair. I think the key for him to become a better player is the decision making, when to go and when to lay it off, he often tries to do too much and loses the ball. A good manager will notice this quickly and drill him for it. I guess I'm disagreeing with you a little bit, he is still raw, but on the cusp of better things plus he has played a lot of games now so I don't see him taking a backwards step. He'll play 30+ league games for us next season if he stays fit.
