I'm surprised Boro haven't announced Carrick's sacking yet in that case. Coventry must be drafting Robins' statement too.
If we offer the money they want they'll come, simple.
If I was a professional footballer I would prefer to play for a club winning matches and playing attacking football rather than play for a club that has their players pass the ball around at the back and waste time.
Oh good so we get to overpay for players to compensate for our mayhem.
Carvalho's deal by all reports was 500k all up. He chose us over clubs like Leeds and Southampton. Despite them being in the picture, we got him for a good price. But now we get to pay a large amount more to entice players instead of having an attractive manager.
Don't think that's the case as much as some of us would have Liked LR to stay he was not the only reason players like Delap an co come here Acun and Tan played their role to especially with the players clubs so i think players will still come here.
I don't think Stay Still is the answer though i would rather see Marsch or Rohl come in they at least have a bit more experience, as for Cooper even though he has done a decent job at Forest if we wanted to go for experience then just get Bruce back he has seen it and done it with this club and we also had some of our most succesful years even though many supporters would probably not want him but if Acun and Co want to throw money in and get promoted he has at least done it with this Club.
Apparently Pep has cancelled all training and media interviews so he can meet with the owners to discuss what they’re going to do with Delap next season

I'm glad someone didnt go all in on Cooper as listening to the Walton Street podcast BC said the owner has said its not him.
Today and in the coming days, I think a lot of people will actually come to realise, that this is a positive not the horrendous negative they thought. You cannot avoid stats, and the stats say, not good enough. Listening to the podcast from last night, two professional footballers have said as painful as it was seeing someone they know and like immensely lose their job its business and they actually get it. Prutton went on to say, we were better than West Brom, better than Norwich, better than Southampton and 50/50 better than Leeds and that coming form someone who sees more games than we do. They cited the extremes between Southampton's and the Stokes and the massive inconsistencies (even though LR would tell you we had been consistent all season long) . DM referred to when we went up in 2015/16 and about training, saying they never trained playing Tuesday/ Saturday (always been mentions of over training/ over analysing) and they won 8 on the spin like that (loved his comment about how they would stand in the tunnel and say we aren't getting beat today).. was that mentality ever there.
What I'm saying is, for as much as we all have our feelings, people much much closer to the game can see why and the key decision left to be made is who takes this forward.
As has been said a good few times, had LR not had the Hull connection I dont think there would have been such an outpouring of grief or the easy ride he got for a lot of the time when we had shockers and that is what has done for him.
Get behind the new manager, stay with the owner who gave us our club back and a belief we lost until about 2 years ago.
