Personally I think the closer figures will be £15m for Greaves and £10m for Philogene. Greaves is improving but isn't a Premier League ready starter yet, he will be. Philogene needs more time at this level, playing for the team, he's too greedy at times and makes the wrong decisions, scouts will have seen this, he will be a Premier League starter at some point but not yet.
He's the top rated Centre Half in the Championship this season, he's English, left footed and reliable. Four very big reasons why he will attract serious interest and, hopefully a very good fee. Not sure what else he is supposed to do and others who were no better have gone for very good money in the past.
If the highest offer we get for Philogene is £10m, then he’s going nowhere. And though we need to cash in on at least one of them, I still expect Greaves fee will have to start with a 2 (or be very close to it).
If doncaster go up Youd like to think we could arrange tlt to have another loan there at a higher level
Unfortunately clubs ( and agents ) know we need to sell so that really won't help, it's really important imo that if we're selling then it's done as early as possible, both for us to have adequate time to replace, but also because if it gets towards the end of the window and we haven't sold ( enough ) then we may be forced into accepting something lower
I think west ham was mentioned on here, Bowen seems to like Moyes. However Moyes is leaving, wonder if west ham are still the front runners
He's admired by a fair few in the PREM and rightly so, A friend of mine who's currently working for a London club in the top 6 has said they are tracking what's happening. They don't see him as a week in week out prem player for them yet, but are considering it because they know if he does go into a lower PREM team and does well, his value will sky rocket, so do they get him cheaper now and nurture or risk having to pay big money later
